The Love of Reading

Part of my 101 in 1001 was to read 25 books....
I'm well on my way!
I love reading and almost everything I read is based on a recommendation.
So please, pass along your suggestions...I'm off to the library again next week to return these and check out some more.
I would love to know your faves!

And what's a post without a photo.....
What I'm reading now :)

If you're into real life stories, there's Escape by Carolyn Jessop. It's about how she grew up in a polygamous sect, was forced to become a "sister wife" of an older man, and how she eventually escaped with her children.

If it's mindless, sort of pass the time reading, I suggest anything by Lisa Jackson or Beverly Barton -romance/suspense-type reading.

And, if it's educational you're looking for, The No Cry Sleep Solution or the No Cry Potty Solution by Elizabeth Pantley are both good.

And there's always 302 Ways to Drive Your Man Wild in Bed...though definitely get another book to read as well since this one isn't a long read. Apparently it doesn't take a whole lot to drive a man wild in bed.

Oh, and those recommendations are from me, Angie. It's been so long since I've been on my blog, I can't remember my user name.

Happy reading!

The BEST Christian read, Dangerous Surrender by Kay Warren! Watch out, if you're ready it'll transform your life! Get ready to say 'yes' to God without knowing how, why or when. If you can't find it, I'll send you my copy to borrow. I actually bought 2 extra of these books AFTER I read it, JUST so I could share with others (but both of them are 'checked out'!!!)

I'm currently reading the house of night series and I love them. Dear John is really good too and way better than the movie. I liked the lovely bones too. Blindness, the notebook (if you haven't already read it), and the birth house. I always have my head stuck in a book if you need more suggestions. :)

If you enjoy mindless fluff, the Shopaholic series (Sophie Kinsella)are quick, fun reads.
I do not reccomend The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner (or something like that) by Stephenie Meyer. It was not worth the time it took to read. I think she is just trying to make even more money after the Twilight books. (Which I really enjoyed -not the movies though, just the books) But I enjoy fiction. Fiction that doesn't make me think!
Happy reading!
