It's a Giveway for Haiti

We all know the devestation that has taken grip of Haiti.
But before this happened a friend of mine was already planning a missions trip there next December.
Now my friend is raising money by selling hand made earrings.
100% of sales will go towards buying rice & beans.

So in support of my friend I'll be giving away two pairs of earrings here on my blog.
I know it's not a huge donation but I want to show my support. And what better way than a freebie for you!!
Check out her blog HERE to see which ones you like and in the meantime buy a pair too.

I have lots of fav cheao gifts but one was an elephant snowglobe.
I LOVED it, it was a birthday gift from a co-worker. When I thanked her for it because I love elephants so much, she laughed and admitted that it was from the Dollarstore, go figure :)
And guys be sure to enter....Valentine's is just around the corner. These would make a great gift.

My best cheap gift would have to be last year for my Birthday!! I was gone to Corner Brook for the day and when I got home Ethan started yelling Mommy we got you a present for your birthday, so he went and got it, and when I opened it, it was a Mushed Snowball, you know the kind with the chocolate, coconut and creamy marshmellow! He said Mommy I got it, cause I know you love them....

When I said Thank you to Ethan who was 2 1/2 years old, Geremy looks at me and says....Well thats what he wanted to get you....lol!

That was me best and favorate Cheap gift!

I know it's cliche, but the best gifts that I've ever received are the ones that my oldest daughter has given me. She's constantly drawing pictures for us and I love getting to see the world, our world, through her eyes. She also gave us a handprint for our 5th anniversary made out of dough, pink and yellow, and decorated with sprinkles. It's my most cherished possession because I know she put her little heart and soul into it.

MY MOST FAVORITE "CHEAP" PRESENT WAS A PICTURE FRAME MY DAUGHTER HAD -- THE "STAND" WAS BROKEN BUT MY DAUGHTER PUT A PICTURE OF HER AND HER SIBLINGS IN IT AND WRAPPED IT BY HERSELF FOR ME FOR CHRISTMAS!! I LOVE IT AND IT STILL LEANS AGAINST MY LAMP!!
