I'm taking December off....well off from photography related things.

Sure I'll still be blogging but as of tonight all orders are complete and no more sessions until 2011

Burning the Candle

This week I think I've burnt the candle at both ends.

Up until 1am most nights but getting a lot checked off the to do list.

If you know me, 1am on a weeknight just doesn't exist. 

For that matter it rarely even exists on a weekend anymore.

But my goal was to have all my photography tasks completed before Dec 1st

I want to take December to focus solely on family and the true reason for the holidays.

Here's a few things that I've been up too........

Because dry Canadian winters arrive much earlier than the Calendar says they do

Because I often look like I'm wearing bright red lipstick when really I'm not

Spread the Love Tour 2011

For the last two years I would see the blog post come up.

Yes that would be Justin & Mary

I "heart" them.

So yes, I would read their blog post, then I would check out the locations and instantly bring up Mapquest.

I'd then start calculating in my head, the costs, if a 10 hour road trip was feasible, where I would sleep, heck no I wouldn't need to sleep, I would just drive, do the seminar/workshop and then drive back and still be to work the next day.

Yes, perfect.

Well no....not so perfect :(

Two years ago I was very pregnant and last year Jesse was just a baby.

But this year, oh this year....

Not only are they coming to Toronto!!! I know....no 10 hour road trip!

But Justin&Mary have totally kicked it up a notch by making the price amazing with their Black Friday sale.

So yes, this year I will be attending! Woot, Woots heard all around :)

It seems that finally the chips have fallen into place.

Oh and speaking of chips.....

 

First Hair Cut

Yesterday Kristen & I took Jesse to Melonhead for his first haircut.

He did pretty good. 

And now Jesse officially looks like a little boy and not a baby anymore :(

Santa Claus is coming to town....

Yesterday Jesse & I attended his first Santa Claus Parade.

This year's theme was Comics

Must say the Charlie Brown comics were my favourites.

I always love the marching bands

Jesse did too

Just Because: The White Family

This family I hold near and dear to my heart.

I've known Angie since my last year of highschool and Brandt I met in college.

And Leah well she made her beautiful appearance into the world just 6 days after Jesse.

It was my pleasure & honour to be able to photograph their family portraits.

It was a cool Saturday evening but that didn't dampen any spirits.
